Interested in demonstrating and/or gaining critical digital literacy skills?
Through the Tahoe Career Connect Partnership, we’ve made access to free, easy-to-use resources from NorthStar Digital Literacy available here in the Tahoe Basin. There are three primary components:
- Essential Computer Skills – including Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, and Using Email
- Essential Software Skills – including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Docs
- Using technology in daily life – including Social Media, Information Literacy, and Career Search Skills
There are two options for accessing these resources that we believe may help you find the best fit for your needs and schedule.
If you simply want to do quick assessments of these skills and are an independent learner, already fairly skilled and comfortable with technology, access the resources here.
